Our Company
Callata˙ & Wouters is a company that was created in 1983 in Brussels, specialising in information technology for the banking and financial sector. We have three complementary businesses:

  • the development and sale of banking software packages;
  • conducting projects for the implementation of our software applications;
  • the support and on-site servicing of our solutions.

Callata˙ & Wouters also has a large Research & Development department, whose mission is to prepare the company's solutions of the future.

Our People
Callata˙ & Wouters' greatest strength is its team of consultants, who are renowned for their proficiency in the IT and banking domains. Our employees form a closely-knit, dynamic team, mainly composed of Masters in Engineering, IT and Sciences.

   

Our IT Solutions
Our premier product is Thaler - a scalable, core-banking solution. This proven, multi-channel offering can be run as an integrated end-to-end solution to cover the entire range of core-banking activities or on a modular basis to support individual lines of business. All parts of the Thaler solution suite are designed with the active and direct involvement of professional bankers and specifically focus on the needs of end users.
We use open standards in the development of our software (Service-Oriented Architecture) to ensure that our customers can evolve their technology infrastructure without changing their core banking application, meaning greater flexibility and reduced risk.

Your Recruitment
Our expectations during the recruitment procedure are high. We choose our candidates for their intellectual rigour, their ability to discern both the essentials and the details, and their desire for perfection. Of course, the motivation to evolve in the IT banking industry is important. Similarly, our selection criteria include a fluency in English and other languages as well as international mobility.

Our Training Program
Callata˙ & Wouters has its own training centre: C&W University. It has a twofold mission: to train employees as well as clients in the company's products and solutions, but also to ensure our consultants are provided with ongoing training in technical and financial matters, without neglecting the soft skills of management and English. All new recruits follow a three-week induction program in order to prepare them for their future projects.

Our Work Atmosphere
Callata˙ & Wouters offers many opportunities for communication, knowledge sharing and contact between employees. In particular, we organise inter-project work meetings, research seminars, a cocktail reception for the General Meeting as well as sporting and festive events. These are all occasions for members of the company to get together and exchange ideas and get to know each other.
