Project Manager

To support our growth in the UK and to develop our projects departments in North-East England, enabling our futher international expansion, we are looking for (m/f):

Project Manager

Job description:

As the project Manager, you will be the on-site representative of Callataÿ & Wouters with the Client;

You will be responsible for large scale implementation projects of Thaler, our core banking system and may be called upon to manage resources involved in continuous support and maintenance activities on live systems;

You will be based in the UK and will report to the UK client service partner, who is responsible for all aspects of the Callataÿ & Wouters relationship with our UK Clients.

Requested professionnal skills and personal profile:

You have an appropriate technical background and broad, knowledge of computer technology systems and software. You are familiar with, and have at least initial working experience in applying formalized methodologies and frameworks for project management (PMBOK, Prince 2), IT Service Management (ITIL) and / or software testing ( V – model, TMPA);

Knowledge of the banking industry at the level of understanding and having operational insight in one or more of the main process areas (Deposits, Payments, Securities, etc…) will be considered as an important asset;

You have at least 8 years of experience in a bank, in a software development company or as consultant (systems’ integration or business / IT Consultancy). You have managed a software implementation project in a client – facing environment involving a team of at least 15 to 20 Full Time Equivalent and accounting for + / - 3000 man – days;

A perfect knowledge of English and a working knowledge of French is an asset;

You have a master in commercial science or scientific science or computer science;

You are prepared to travel;

Regarding your personal skills you need to be rigorous and precise, open minded and a team – worker;

You have sense of responsibility and are able to provide quantity and quality of work;

You are enthusiastic and persevering;

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills;

You are an honest and reliable person;

You have a stable work history with demonstrable company loyality.
